Description

The poverty simulation experience is designed to help participants begin to understand what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family trying to survive from month to month. The object is to sensitize participants to the realities faced by low-income people.

It is difficult for those of us who have enough to truly understand the situations that families living in poverty experience every day like the decisions they have to make and the frustrations that they must feel. That is why we are inviting you to walk a mile in the shoes of those facing poverty in our very own community by participating in the upcoming Community Poverty Forum & Simulation.
